Even more projects......
Hi everyone, we're excited to share a couple of projects we've been working on. The first picture is a couple of shelves that we will be putting in the monkey's room. Noticed that we've painted the letters too, the V is somehow missing here. This will be placed on one of the shelves. The monkey room is coming along nicely. :o) The second picture is a project we've been wanting to do for a while and Randy decided to do it Friday on his day off work. Isn't he talented or what? :o) Our laundry room looks so much better and this provides us a lot of storage space. We had to get a new light for the room as the previous one wouldn't allow a lot of space to open the cabinet door wide.

Latest project.....and belly pictures
I've been bugging Randy for years to make me an end table for our great room and he was real sweet to make it at the same time as making the changing table. I love the man! We both had fun designing & putting together a pattern for the top. Here are a few pictures of our finished work. (The changing table pictures are in the next post)

Diann at 36 weeks.

Diann at 37 weeks, not really much of a difference from the week before. But the little monster keeps growing and growing, and I can't wait until he gets out. :o)

Monkey Play Pen
We've been super excited & busy putting together the nursery. We wanted to show you all of what we've accomplished so far for our baby Monkey. :o)
Diann painted the side bars of the crib BROWN to match the Monkey bedding, it was navy blue before.

Randy made this changing table in our garage, doesn't it look AWESOME!

Prenatal class
Last night, Randy and I went to our prenatal class - it was our second visit. They showed us a few videos and one of them was a birth video. I've watched a ton of birth videos and I've always find them fascinating, so it doesn't bother me one bit. I don't have cable and I don't know about you but I absolutely love watching the birthing stories on TV whenever I can get a sneak at other people's cable TV. :o)
Well, last night, it was a completely different experience for me, I had tears running down my face.....the girl that was given birth in that video - I KNOW HER very well!! It was not the birthing itself that bother me, it was watching her groan in pain, being extremely uncomfortable. Since I know her, I just totally connected with her emotionally. I basically just felt for her and bawled. It was just a weird experience watching someone you know give birth, I never thought I would ever come across that. The other couples in the class probably thought I was crazy, they probably thought I'm so petrified about giving birth and thought "oh, that girl is not going to make it." :o) Anyway, I know some of you will know who this girl is, especially Mike & Beckie. Her name is Rachel (Lee) Bates. :o)
